“Near the city of Sevastopol, two UAVs were hit by air defense equipment, another 9 were suppressed by electronic warfare,” it was reported.

“As a result of the thwarted terrorist attacks, there are no casualties and no damage,” the military informed.

The previous attack on Sevastopol was on July 16, when they shot down 6 drones in the air and two in the sea.

Razvozhaev commented on the attack of drones over Sevastopol

Tonight, the fleet, in cooperation with air defense forces, repelled an attack by Ukrainian UAVs over the sea on approach to Sevastopol, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said in his Telegram channel.

Nine drones were jammed by electronic warfare, two more were shot down by air defense systems. All services continue to monitor the situation, Razvozhaev said.

According to him, now operational services continue to control the situation.

It also became known about an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack the Crimean airfield in Novofedorovka. According to the Telegram channel Baza, the attack attempt took place around 5 am on August 10. Air defense forces prevented the attack.

At the end of last week, it was reported that in the open sea near Sevastopol, the fleet discovered a surface drone. Evacuation from the beaches was not required. The drone was destroyed.
