Attack by “Shaheds” in the Odessa Region: It Became Known Which Port the Russians Attacked

During a night attack by Shahed drones in the Odessa region, Russian troops attacked the port of Reni.

The head of the Reni community, Igor Plekhov, spoke about this, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the website “Reni-Odessa. Our Common Home” .

According to him, three warehouses with grain were destroyed.

It is noted that about 15 “Shaheds” were recorded. Residents of Reni and surrounding villages heard a series of explosions.

The blast wave also damaged the windows of buildings and structures in the Reni port. There were local outbreaks that rescuers quickly eliminated.

It is worth noting that the port of Reni is located 300 meters from the border with a NATO member in Romania. The border runs along the fairway of the Danube.

Shelling of Odessa and the region

Russia, after withdrawing from the “grain agreement”, launches rocket attacks on Odessa and the region almost every night. Also, the enemy uses kamikaze drones and missiles of various types to strike at the Kherson and Nikolaev regions, as a result of which civilians were killed and injured.

All last week, Russian troops attacked the port infrastructure of Odessa and the region. At the same time, not only ports suffered, but also residential buildings.

In particular, during yesterday’s attack on Odessa, 22 people were injured, one was killed. The Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior was also partially destroyed .

Tonight, the occupiers attacked the Danube ports using shock drones of the “Shahed” type . As a result of the attack, damage to the infrastructure.

In addition, six people were injured in the attack .

Danube ports of Ukraine – ports located in four cities of the Odessa region – Reni, Izmail, Kiliya, Ust-Dunaysk. These ports are seen as an alternative for the export of Ukrainian grain due to the recent announcement by the Russian Federation about the termination of the “grain agreement”.
